Who cares? Get the getting while the getting is getting. Recall the internet bubble kept going for years in spite of Greenspan's warnings.
Give up Starbucks coffee (or your fav treats) for a coupla months and use the savings to get yours while the getting is good. Worst case scenario then would be that you lost 2 months of treats... versus best case... you do well, make some money and get bragging rights for your grand kids :D

Maybe we should be more concerned with the inflation of CEO pay than government covid handouts...

  3. That ratio of pay/power between boss/kings/owners/bosses/executives to employees/workers/slaves will never change. It's been horrible since 10,000 BC at the time of the Ancient Egyptians to modern day, 2022. Also include racism, sexism, various intolerances, these too will basically never go away.

Nothing matters anymore, markets shrug off everything. War, famine, plague. Not even a tiny dip is allowed. FOMC has its foot on the floor. Even as prices on everything keep rising....Used car prices up 40%. Never in the history of automobiles have used car prices risen. Car's are now an appreciating asset. I hear prices of river rocks are next to double.

The FOMC will claim victory by pointing out rising prices have slowed. They will never go back down.

You meant to say JPEG rocks selling as NFTs are the next to double.

If anyone thinks there is nothing wrong with this entire market you have to have your head examined. I'm telling you this market is going to break so fu*king hard. Anyone who thinks this is the norm better wise up and start rethinking your game plan. When a picture of a rock, A simple pointless, mindless patheric jpeg of a rock sells for millions of dollars that right there is your warning sign. This isn't the only thing that raises concern, the list goes on and on but just keep ignoring it until that day comes and you realize after the fact the warning signs that were already in place.

According to a new tweet from Twitter account EtherRock Price on August 22, even the most affordable version of the Ethereum-based NFT at the time reached a staggering 321.12 ETH, which is roughly $1,046,742 USD. The most expensive one sold stands at an incredible 420 ETH, or approximately $1,397,277 USD. Just a day before that, EtherRocks were going for around $300,000 USD, already a massive increase from the $100,000 USD price tag from two weeks ago.

Capitalism warriors warning of excesses.. Exuberance used to be limited to a select few, now it's all gone to shits?
Recall those late office nights snorting lines of cocaine on the butt crack of a gorgeous but oh so young playthings while guzzling down a 5k bottle of wine? No?
Capitalism mantra: growth is infinite. An absurd purchase of an incomprehensible thing is capitalism doing what it does best.

I agree with S2007S & Rickshaw on the absurdity but the problem is it is in-congruent with the direction of the momentum of the market. Its like being short the QQQQ in summer of 1998. You would have been wiped out in a matter of months.

Whenever this market gets close to the 50-day SMA I start buying out of the money puts, although this has been a bad trade except in March 2020 where I made ~80 fold on the SPY puts.

The absurdity is the traders on here who perpetually ignore what really move markets ( and how to evaluate companies ) and are forever whining about conspiracy theories and absolute crap. 12 years of S2007S posting this shit; he told everyone to liquidate their holdings spring 2009.

  10. I think a lot of us know exactly what's moving this market. It's the Central Bank with its never-ending QE. It really is that simple.
