1. ok I bought 14 shares of yhoo at 13.14

and i put my stop at 33.90 risking .23

    cents a share.

    ---

I understand the commission for buying the stock, but why did i get charged a commission for setting a stop that might not even get executed?

<goes back to his files and reads the fine print :( >

  2. What did your broker say when you asked them?

    - Spydertrader

  3. false alarm... i get my 7 dollars back if the order is not executed...yay, now i can pay for lunch :)

  4. scottrade eh?

i use them too. the commission is priced into each trade you do.

  5. krazy

do you have the elite version or basic?

i find it funny that my stock has not moved a PENNY sense I bought it. Its been at 34.17 all day long...even when i hit refresh, it does not change... is scottrade's quotes delayed or something?

  6. I've been watching 6 stocks on ST all day long.
    all working fine.
