This is the kind of volatility that marks tops

  1. Hyped up? Vertical?

    We're up now like 6% YTD? Like 20% YoY? 10% annualized over the last four years? Not sure if this qualifies for vertical but it's nothing unusual when looking at historical patterns of the markets.

    Regarding "most hyped": Not sure what others in here think, my personal impression when talking to friends and family is that this is the most distrusted and hated bull market in quite a while. It almost sounds like most of them seem to think a huge 30-40% correction is right around the corner so they won't bother putting a single dollar to work. Talk about Pavlovian relex, can't blame some of them after being burnt badly in 2001/2002.
