I never said nothing is be done. But what is done is too late and too little.

Donald told yesterday that HE achieve what nobody could : 1 million people were tested in the US. A historical milestone!!! Donald said. LOL.
Donald said that no other country did that. Hilarious because the tests should be put in relation to size of the population. In the US these tests represent 0.3% of the population. Which is close to zero. Statistically worthless.

In many areas there are not many cases of COVID because they didn't test almost anybody. Yet these numbers are used to show that things are under control. So they have no clue about reality. There are lot of states with apparently 1-5 death, that is impossible and futur will confirm that.
While NY was in lockdown, in other states it was still business as usual, and beaches fullof people. So the majority has no clue about the reality.

  2. I'm hoping that many people have gotten infected but had such mild symptoms that they didn't even notice. I heard the head doctor (Fauci) say that his opinion is that people who recovered would most likely have immunity for 1-2 years. (This is not proven, but it's his opinion based on how most similar viruses work).

That my friend is exactly why we need Marshal Law and Total ENFORCED shutdown. Too many Americans are too stubborn, arrogant, selfish, independent, freedom loving, to do what they need to do on a voluntary basis. Just make a trip to Walmarts. After repeated warnings you will still see and hear ..little social distancing...hacking and coughing..

There are other Americans who at great cost to their own lives daily face this monster. I have nothing but total admiration for all these doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers. Very brave people. They are already giving up their freedoms for the good of others. Very unselfish people.

I for one will give up my liberties for a season out of concern for others, my family and friends, and for the good of the nation UNTIL we get through this.

Some people are willing to give up liberties for a season out of concern for others. So little information? What? Are you living under a rock? If folks take this with an attitude that you have expressed ...well...that is selfishness. This IS NOT about freedoms. This is about life or death for hundreds of thousands, maybe millions. Can we not think of others and not only our own selves? Shouldn’t we?

Agreed. No other country did that because no other country needed to, nor did they let it get that bad that they needed that many tests.

One of the things we see in Europe is that obese people have a much higher risk to die.

On the list of most obese countries, USA is on 16th place; the first European country is Turkey on place 27. The next european country is the UK on place 49. If we see the damage in Europe we can already have an idea about the problem in the US with far more obesitas than in the EU.

But obesity spiking rapidly in places the UK. Also, we obesogenic-related diseases on the rise. The healthcare costs for those related complications is rising faster the problem itself.

Those low place may not last. The one thing Europeans had for them was their mass transit that required that people walk between stations and the like. This led to a fitter society. With the restrictions in place, that'll has gone away. For how long, who can say.

I do. Under the democrats I would be hesitant. I trust Mr T. I don't trust nary a democrat in the house or the senate. Not a single one.

Martial law is the fastest cure. The nation would be back up and running in 4 to 6 weeks. The incremental partial closure isn’t gonna work and will prolong the situation. Of course, with partial closures the democrats would just get more time to blame Mr T.

The incremental approach is going to require another 2 to 4 trillion. Just watch and see. And Thousands upon thousands will die.

Americans have to be MADE to stay home.
