all we can do is keep trying to educate.

    ; and freedom of
thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of atheists minds on et which follow the advance of science to its gradual acceptance that (to date) science can not explain the fine tunings of our universe and science acknowledges it can show that life evolved from non life." [jem win] [/B][/QUOTE]

It seems odd to me you would be promoting a quote from darwin, when more and more scientists are saying there was no time on earth and possible even not enough time in the the universe for life to randomly evolve from non life.

shoot... the point of the above quote is that science has not shown a pathway from non life to life on earth... and that some top scientists say they never will consider there was enough time.

  4. i listened to him on the radio tonight. he isnt giving up:

Radio host says Rapture actually coming in October
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — California preacher Harold Camping said Monday his prophecy that the world would end was off by five months because Judgment Day actually will come on October 21.

Camping, who predicted that 200 million Christians would be taken to heaven Saturday before the Earth was destroyed, said he felt so terrible when his doomsday prediction did not come true that he left home and took refuge in a motel with his wife. His independent ministry, Family Radio International, spent millions — some of it from donations made by followers — on more than 5,000 billboards and 20 RVs plastered with the Judgment Day message.

But Camping said that he's now realized the apocalypse will come five months after May 21, the original date he predicted. He had earlier said Oct. 21 was when the globe would be consumed by a fireball.

It's not the first time the independent Christian radio host has been forced to explain when his prediction didn't come to pass. He also predicted the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said it didn't happen then because of a mathematical error.

Rather than give his normal daily broadcast on Monday, Camping made a special statement before the press at the Oakland headquarters of the media empire that has broadcast his message. His show, "Open Forum," has for months headlined his doomsday message via the group's radio stations, TV channels, satellite broadcasts and website.

  5. it would seem less odd if you knew what you were talking about. if you were to try to educate yourself about evolution you would know that darwin never said anything about creation of life. he spent most of his life as a christian so he may have believed the bible creation story.
darwins contribution was his observations of how species change to adapt to the enviroment around them.

Harold Camping : Sets New Doomsday DateBy Jessica Sinclair on May 24th, 2011

Harold Camping, the California preacher who predicted the world’s end with a catastrophic earthquake this past Saturday, was shocked to see not even the slightest of a Rapture take place. Camping responded by revising his prediction and has moved his doomseday date to October. Camping reportedly revealed that he was off by five months because Earth will be doomed on October 21st.

    no thinker

You really think you have some inside information on Darwin?

    here was your quote...

"It appears to me (whether rightly or wrongly) that direct arguments against
christianity and theism produce hardly any effect on the public; and freedom of
thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of men's minds which
follows from the advance of science." [Darwin]

Your quote was entertaining now that science is proving you wrong about evolution...

My point is now science realizes it has no proof that life evolved from non life and that nobel Nobel prize winners and other top scientists are are saying there was not enough time on life to evolve from non life....

Evolution is nothing to do with life from non life, you were already advised of that earlier.
Specific Nobel prize winners and other top scientists are not saying what you say they are, you were already advised of that earlier too.

So why your obsessive repetition of faulty reasoning? It's looking like a disorder.
