2) "something" was always there with no starting point

both are hard to imagine for me.

How did they take a picture of the Milky Way from 10 million light years away?

 

it's probably a fake picture estimating how it might look...by looking at other galaxies that are far away from us...and from what we know about our own galaxy.

 

Someone went out there with a camera, took a shot, and brought it back.
