" This is a manipulated bull market, how long can it last" the answer is a lot longer than u can stay solvent (shorting it).
So far, the pump up at any cost strategy works very well, no one talk about 2nd dip anymore. Without this pump up, 2nd dip would happen long time ago. To save market from 2nd dip would cost much much more than pumping. This create a market fall apart from fundernmental, many big participats follow the fed way to manupulate individual stock for their own interest, which create a bubble here or there. No doubt this is definitely twisted market, that's why it's called the most hated bull market. Being in market more than 10 years, I haven't seen this lower volume and low valitility, and it's so easy to see how individual stock be manupulated, personally I think it's a fraud and unjustice. My original question is can it be last forever? Will it last until house market red hot again?
Its the socialist bs permeating through wallst. Market continues higher as long as bankers know the guy on mainstreet is going to bail their gambling losses. System needs a real good flush to get these fkrs out of the system to get it healthy again.
Let's say: A and B have a pen which worth $1, they want to pump pen's price to $100, so A sell pen to B for $10, B sell to A for $20, then pump it to $60, C is watching and regretting : if he bought at $30, he would make double, A&B keep pumping the pen's price, then what would happen? Either reach the point C finally jump in or A&B keep playing the game themselves. Public are like C in today's market. Trend followers are those buy between A&B pumping. Shorts are right as the pen is only worth $1, but was a loser and hit hard in this game.
I tuned into cnbc this morning just to hear the job numbers and the phrase QE3 was all over the place...I think its sad that QE is the only thing that this market has going for it, without it this economy and entire system is fucking worthless. BUBBLE ben bernanke thinks he is saving the market and the economy, only in time will he realize what he did was the wrong way to fix a crisis of this size.
"My original question is can it be last forever" why do you care? does anything last forever except death + taxes?
Honestly this market could continue to move higher in the short-run. Lots of traders caught short here: http://premarketinfo.com/2012/09/07/expecting-a-pullback-you-may-be-waiting-for-a-while/
who exactly is short after almost non stop 40% rally which last for a year already? there are no shorts at all they all give up, like retail gave up 5 years ago it's almost feels like short ban. everyone is so terrified to short
