Beau "Danger" Wolinsky. Your sport accomplishments are even more impressive than your CFA curriculum and Robbins signatures. The guy is losing his breath after 5 minutes gay bladin' on a flat road.Give me a break.

But he's doing math at the same time!

I bet he can even chew gum and walk at the sametime.

Maybe he can even pat his head and rub his tummy too.

Unfortunately, that was the cause of the last fall, 3 years ago. So now he is a lot more prudent, but still with his Fuck-it-all no pads attitude that we all love.

  4. What on Earth is "proprietary capital management arbitrage"? Did you just find 4 random vaguely financial terms and string them together in random order? "Risk management trading systems" sounds a little better, but not by a lot.

  5. Dude, you are parsing it wrong:

It's (proprietary capital) (management arbitrage) =>

(spending his own money) (giving himself a cool sounding title in his own one person shop)

  7. I think you're wrong as well... I think our friend bwol is so far ahead of us in this finance space that we just can't comprehend the beautiful complexities of his various endeavors. "Proprietary capital management arbitrage" is the new cutting edge activity that will catapult bwol to the pinnacle of the business world. He will be a captain of industry and a mover and shaker in no time at all and we will all be left behind in his wake.

  8. I do "parlor trick" math at parties and on prop bets. 2x2 and 3x3 digit multiplication. Typically the bet is that I can do it faster in my head than the person can by using the calculator. The variable is how quick they are with data-entry. IOW, I don't bet against accountants, 7-11 cashiers, etc... and I've won a lot more than I've lost

My Wechsler-score is silly but there will always be guys/gals out there who can calculate/iterate quicker and are more socially capable, etc. You suffer from Jungian-inflation; which IMO is a result of a fairly dysfunctional childhood. I am not putting you down at all, and I hope that you get something out of this post. My guess is that you haven't had a lot of experience with women and that perceived-inadequacy leads to an attempt to prove to the World that you're THE shit. This is your chosen profession so you need to be the best and the brightest, and is why you're so defensive re: your performance on C2 and the "out" that you're always working on something that will shortly be printing money. For you, intellectual capacity and investment performance are equivalent, and you take it as an affront to your intellect if anyone beats your performance in relative or absolute figures. It's personally offensive to you.

This is only my opinion and you're welcome to ignore it.

We have a saying in powerlifting..... somewhere there is a chick who's warming-up with your one-rep max. The analogy also holds in cognitive pursuits.
