    would you?

    would you pay for proof that technical analysis would make money?.

    and how much if i provide you with that proof? i can declare my trades to you as i make them ....i may not actually make them but this exercise is to show that correct trades may be made by TA

    And still counting. :rolleyes:

    BTW, for the record, let's get one thing straight. Those who follow TA never bring up any issues with FA (fundamental analysis). It's always those bastards from the FA camp who poke their smelly nose in TA, which they know nothing about.

    very intuitive point.
    technicals may change in an instant.

    but fundamentals usually take a lot longer to change.

    also how many people have access to timely fundamental data? and how many people know how to interpret fundamental data?

    price is available immediately in real time so it is just a matter of convenience.

    and in any case once fundamental data changes so does technicals!!!!!

    so it hardly matters which one you follow.

    but to trade fundamentals you need really deep pockets so most of the poorer bunch have to rely upon TA

    in this recent crash both changed almost at the same time

  5. These are very good indicators. It doesn't mean the indicator doesn't work if your backtest isn't profitable. Indicators are just a tool. It just means your method doesn't work.

    This one is debatable. I've seen on so many occasions where chart led the way long before there was any news. Could it be insider trading? Possibly. Or it could just be a mere fluke, for all I care.

    news is late.
    once the fundamental data changes the technicals change.

    it may be public information.......any number of business heads small and big know their market has got better.

    though they may not buy shares that information may be communicated to those who do.....relations friends neighbors........just in conversation

    Markets have a structure.
    Believe it or not.

    If you leave an angry bull onto the streets,
    With suckers running randomly around,
    The infrastructure will still hold true.

    It’s a BS way of thinking.

    ->

    Because I can’t see it then it does not exist.

    OR

    Because all swans are white then none are black.

    ->

    Because my TA fail then all TA fail.
    There is an induction problem.
    Induction is speculative.
