This coating keeps everything dry

Pretty cool stuff... didn't know existed .

I read about this some time ago and it does look incredibly practical.

 

It is a 2 coat system:

Super cool but at $2.16 per square foot it could get pricey fast!

 

This is a new technology, over time the price will probably drop. It's what usually happens. In a decade or so we may see it used everywhere.

 

There has been a coating like this for a while. Problem is that it's not durable. After a while it wears out (or washes out of clothes) and is no longer effective.

 

Shoes from this material are amazing. Especially, the winter ones.

 

reminds me of the stuff they use on dockers pants. It's just some silicone spray no?
