  1. TIE

    down -7 today

Public message boards/forums are interesting places - they always have been since the early 90s. I make my first trading call/post in a LONG time on ET (on this thread) regarding TIE, and offer some support coupled with a trading idea, i.e. TIE had put in a st TOP on blowoff volume! But instead of considering my view on TIE, as is typical on ET we get a couple of sophomoric genius posters who too often frequent this place (and most other public message boards) saying dumb things like:

    1. Don't hijack thirsty's a thread iceman, or
    2. He's like a 6yo with tourette's syndrome -- can't help himself, or
    3. Don't listen to Iceman's idle threats, Novel... he'll blowup vt soon enough and they'll pull his cable modem

--- rather than actually considering my input.

Really don't think I'll "blowup" vt with trading calls like the one on TIE! Do you?! Might begin managing a hedge fund next year, though! :D :p

This is what ET offers lately or so it seems; too many ego-tripping posters exchanging insults and sarcastic comments with other guys they know nothing about. AND remember this is a trading website. So its not like I offered some off-the-wall opinion about Bush or foreign policy or steroids or an irrelevant subject!

Good luck to ET. Don't worry "novel", I and other experienced posters like me probably won't "hijack" too many threads on ET by offering trading input or ideas when they continue to get smart-ass remarks each time they do. ET's loss. Its' actually kind of funny. Reminds me of what happened on yhoo message boards all during the 90s.

    Good trading guys!! :D

p.s. closed all short calls on TIE went long at approx 73 very st downside 2-3/upside 7+. Still long june puts . Be patient!

    later,

  2. Thus begins the dissertation on how he's not hijacking this thread... with 1000 words mind you. Mr. Revisionist with his hindsight trades, "I bought puts..." yada, yada. Gets absolutely destroyed in OIH, AAPL, CME, etc. and somehow he has opposing positions in "another account". Very convenient. Lest we forget the short calls on TIE from lower levels that he's miraculously pulled out of his ass. BTW, you seem to read a lot of my posts despite putting my handle on ignore.

Five words from Novel justifies the response? Get a grip, Man.

This is my last post on this fine thread unrelated to Thirsty's trades. I suggest the clown do the same.

Picked up 1000 june 32.5s for 1.52 on avg. Stop at 1.25 Target: not sure yet.

Iceman - great trade on TIE. I think some of the others may have just been rubbed the wrong way when you continue to push other trading ideas. Let's just all get along - everyone should post their thoughts, thats what this forum is for afterall.
