You made a lot of great points in this thread, Ammo. Thanks. The Asters, Kennedys, Hudson Bay Trading Company (opium to china). Most of the dynastic wealth amassed in the past 300 years was made through drug dealing. It's a blight on our ancestors and something revisionist historians dutifully cover up. Pretend it doesn't exist. I wanted to post a few articles for you in regards to recent drug laundering. Wachovia, Wells Fargo and BoA were all implicated of late, in laundering billions for the drug cartels. You're spot on in the nearly 1 Trillion a year in cash from the narcotics industry must be laundered through banks, and it is! I think Wachovia payed something like a 200 million fine on nearly half a TRILLION (with a T) they laundered for Mexican drug cartels over a 5 year period. No biggie. No arrests. But you or I deposit 15K in dope money and we're facing 25 years in the klink, bare minimum. The whole system is a complete and total fraud. The drug dealers and banks basically work in collusion with Government to keep drugs illegal, and their profits (and bank accounts) exploding. The enforcement is designed to target the independent cowboys (read: competition, trying to make a buck). Keeps street prices high and it's great press for the Boys in Blue! Look at Afghanistan. Heroine production skyrocketed 1000% since "the allies" took over !! US Troops literally guard poppy fields in Afghanistan. Pure corruption but good for business...

Heat correlates well with violence. It lowers the "tipping point". Of course it is but one factor. But this is based on empirical observation, i.e. data. Perhaps you can do better than that.

[I'm not denying a cultural problem, it also exists.]

  6. Damn, I didn't think anybody knew that down here in the basement but me. That why half those "blacks are violent" threads, I don't respond to. I always have to consider the source, which is usually educated just barely enuf to feed his face.

  10. Confirming my GW theory. Dark colors attract heat. Heat makes people pissed off. There you go. Of course that doesn't explain all the crazy white bastards, but it's a start. :D
