Without getting too esoteric here, going back in time and changing how things were would lead to a future that is different from the one that is experienced now. Likewise, in a sense, infinite backtesting ticks are great! Just awesome! But it means nothing past the point of the present, because anything forward from the present is the future, and the future is unknowable, IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.

Thank you Smilingtrader , i will pass the info along as i know some other traders in other countries and thinkorswim is a great platform for backtesting and practicing and the ondemand feature is really helpful in testing and simulating entries and exits using real market data , appreciate your help and your reply .
