I am having some trouble with my ThinkorSwim Mobile software on my iPhone. When I set an Alert (say, /ES >= 1271), the Alerts don't actually do anything (ie, Vibrate, pop-up a message, Ring, etc.) at all! The only time the Alert works is if the application is open on my iPhone. But what's the point in that? I should be able to set an Alert and then have it ring a few hours later when it's in my pocket, right? If anyone has some illumination on this problem, it would be nice to hear. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Please advise!
Did you ever get this to work? I'm having the same problem. Assuming maybe this is still how it is designed?
Do you have push notifications turned on for the mobile trader app ? When you say it only works when it is open, do you mean when the screen is open only ? Are you logging out of the app or just letting it run in the background ?
