Thinkorswim FX

  1. Ummmmmmm, 3 wide on the EUR, I don't think that is so great. Unless they are not 3 wide. Three wide for you rookies means you need to move 6 to break even, not a platform for scalping. Maybe position and swing would be OK.

    Sample EUR trade of a 3 pip trade:

    BID 1.3471
    ASK 1.3474

    You bought 1 lot at 1.3474 (the ASK). On a platform where there are no commissions, you just have to sell for the price you bought it at.

    You sold 1 lot at 1.3474 (BID you would need to break even, based on 3 pip spread, ask at this point would be 1.3477)

    Total movement 3 pips, not 6.

    This is probably no spectacular news, but I contacted them and they are a market maker for what its worth.

    Have had conflict with Thinkorswim CEO 6 month before
    for simple reason .

    After that with start of thinkorswim FX moral decreased
    from pure agent to market maker .


    P.S. Mr.Sheridan before start of TOS was market-maker by CBOE
