The attacks didn't kill him and he outlived most people from that era. I'd dare venture to say that they made him stronger
They had a sailor on NBC last night. First guy to get the CMH in WWII or Pacific (?). He manned a .50 caliber gun for two hours at Pearl Harbor, was wounded 27 times!!. Guy is 9 months from turning 100. He was Obama's guest for ceremony. Maybe adversity adds to your lifespan?
