While I have the utmost respect for Cottle, the Najarian bros are laughed at-at least on the South end of LaSalle.
I will confer that this is a very sad day. I am really shocked that Tom and Scott would let their baby be thrown to the wolves.
I am a very satisfied TOS client. I closed an IB account a few months back to consolidate at TOS. I had no problems w/IB besides their lackluster charts/analytics. I would not leave TOS/ameritrade without cause. I lived through a similar thing when BrownCo was bought by E-Trade. The transition was smooth. Then changes started happening subtly after a few months. Like boiling a frog. It got to where I couldn't wait to leave E-Trade. I found customer service at E-Trade lacking until I initiated a transfer to TOS. Then I could get anyone I wanted on the phone at E-Trade. Too little to late. I'm cautiously optimistic about the pending TOS deal.
