Was not able to logon for sometime. Now, able to logon. Use the desktop version. Problem, the data has not been updating. Working sparingly now. TD Ameritrade needs to get its act together for a very large broker, not to properly maintain its software is inexcusable. Now, showing delayed data. Isn't Schwab buying TD Ameritrade? Maybe, they will do a better job of it.
I was really looking forward to the Schwab experience for several reasons, but this is giving me pause. Schwab must be livid b/c they just posted that ThinkorSwim was going to be their platform only a week or so ago. After 15 years with ThinkorSwim and then into TD Ameritrade, I'm seriously thinking about moving over to IB as my one-stop-shop for stocks/options/futs/OEFs. Not sure about E-trade.
Go on Twitter and voice your complaints. That is the only way to reach those at the very top. They make the decisions. Go hire more good people to run IT and keep it running efficiently and working daily.
We have. Their bot is responding by sending out the same cut-and-paste BS response it has been for the past few hours: "We do apologize. TOS desktop is experiencing latency issues with the load up. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. In the mean time you can access TOS here trade.thinkorswim.com, TOS mobile app and the TD Ameritrade website."
I can now login but charts will not appear. I think Calhoun uses Fidelity. Maybe he will share what he thinks of their platform.
