You might want to verse yourself in the 60,000 hacked Hillary emails. Government conspiracies and corruption abound. I assure you

The point is the fed lied. They said it wasn't monetization. i don't trust much coming out of the government. Especially bls and the fed

In all seriousness, there is a huge breakdown in understanding about what constitutes "the government". Non-political appointees make up the vast majority of government employees and are career civil service employees generally in GS or WG wage scales as well as military members who serve 20-40 year careers that span the gamut of political administrations in Washington. They're the kind of people who get paid $60,000 a year to compile data that is published on everything from the debt and deficit level to the number of gallons of oil that were extracted and the bushels of wheat harvested. It is patently absurd to think that hundreds of them would participate in any conspiracy especially given that they have absolutely zero upside and a huge downside from participating and just one of them would ruin the conspiracy. Especially when you're also constantly berating them as incompetent idiots!

A response of "but Hillary's emails" shows a serious lack of understanding of the difference between civil service employees and political appointees, and probably little understanding of how the government actually works at all. I served as a military officer so I've seen how government works and realize the limitations and issues with government employees, which makes me very frustrated with these kind of comments that are couched in obvious ignorance. I'd encourage you to do a little research, ignorance is something easily fixed with knowledge and you can contribute much more to our national conversation on government when you actually know wtf you're talking about.

Strong post. The bls definitions of inflation and employment are complete horseshit. I'm sure GS and WG wage slave monkeys just crunch the numbers. The actual definitions and weightings of key metrics are done well above their pay grade.

    Understand ?

I lived the dream for many years my friend, so yes, I "understand". You're the guy who comes in all guns blazing with the accusation that "They're lying about the Deficit" (That's the title you gave this post, remember). When the very basic accounting behind the difference in numbers you cited is pointed out you somehow pivot to vast government conspiracies despite displaying a complete lack of understanding of how that government works, displayed both in your original post and every subsequent post. So yes, I "understand", but it appears you do not.
Again, why not take the time to actually learn how your government operates? It is much easier to change it when you actually understand it. There are many, many ways it could be better run and you could be a part of that improvement, but running around alleging conspiracies isn't going to accomplish a damn thing except providing some kind of mental masturbation for you.

  5. Well, as I have been arguing for a long time now, if you have better ideas for how to calculate all these things, pls don't hesitate.

Like I keep saying, I don't see anything to suggest any grand conspiracies.

    You're a naive dummy.

How many times has the FED lied to us? About the economy? About inflation? About employment? They knew all about the NINJA loans. Fraud was rampant. Everyone knew. They bought SP Futures contracts. The whole lie/idea QE would be phased out quickly and the debt never monetized. Nearly 8 years down the road, and they never paid it back. They lied. Again.

You just sit there claiming insider info. Great, lets hear it. I'll post facts and articles to counter. How about that?

Wouldn't market prices be a better barometer of price inflation then a council of weirdos?

  10. Humanity is better served if people took the time to actually learn how the banks operate. ;)
