It's the same with tests. Nobody needs a test because the CDC failed at developing mass rapid test kits. All we had to do is copy the South Korean model. Nope. CDC couldn't do that either. They were "smarter" and had to do it "their way"....

Nobody needs a mask because there are none to go around. The CDC needs to be gutted from the top down after this. It's either gross incompetency, or they intended to spread the virus.

  2. True but N95 are mainly for medical personnel who have been trained to use it properly. People on the street should not be buying these and taking them away from where they are needed most.

medical professionals are professionals because they are trained to use them. They are difficult to wear more than 30 minutes at a time so they are constantly being changed which is why they are being used up so fast.

  3. If you don't have an N95 mask you should probably own one for your own safety. You don't need to hoard them however.

Had some of these patients worn masks they might not be in the hospital in the first place and the hospital wouldn't be as overburdened. You're government and country has failed you.

I did my research pal, did you?

Overnight was completely and totally incorrect. He has no idea what hes talking about. My statement is 100% consistent with the CDC recommendation from Jan 30th.

"CDC does not currently recommend the use of face masks for the general public. "
    Dr. Nancy Messonnier

    "
But most healthy people who aren't caring for a sick person don't need to wear a face mask to prevent the illness, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. That includes plain, loose-fitting masks sometimes called surgical masks; tighter-fitting N95 respirators, which filter out 95 percent of airborne particles; and reusable face masks sometimes advertised as dust masks.

The interest in masks is understandable, says William Schaffner, M.D., a professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. But any benefit healthy people may get from wearing a mask is likely to be modest."

  5. I still think it is consistent to say the general public really does not need face masks as they should stay in place and save them for the medical community.

All of those people who bought up face masks for going in their car to the grocery are just wasting them.

Get at least you make an argument, which is much more than we can say about Overnight?

The question is, if they dont help the general population, why do medical professionals need them?

  7. C'mon...really you are going to make me answer this question.

Medical professionals are coming into contact with this 100% of the time working in the hospital and it is a crucial part of the protection outfit in conjunction with gloves, scrubs and other items. A doctor or nurse or technician has to go in and out of rooms with people with compromised immune systems as well as COVID. The masks give them an additional layer of security for anything they could get coming in, especially if N95 masks are used.

Fat Mary and Fucktarded Todd does not need a mask to go to the grocery store where he or she is now less likely to come into contact with this virus and as long as they do not touch their face, wear gloves maybe and wash their hands repeatedly, they do not need the mask. I could walk 6 feet away from a Corona carrier and never be at risk for catching it, especially if I wash my hands and don't touch my face until I am completely clean.

Doctors, nurses and technicians are not allowed to be 6 feet away from patients or those sick with this, they need to get right in like heroes and tackle this head.

I think it is pretty clear why a medical professional needs the mask while fat fuckers hoarding masks to go to Whole foods really don't.

El CuloAncho wears his ignorance on his sleeve. You are starting to sink with the rest of turds. Are you trying to make it to exGOPers, TonyStark's, and Here4Money's league?

Ignore the mixed messages and wear that mask

We are learning that masks can provide a measure of protection from the coronavirus if used properly. And the CDC may soon reverse itself and encourage people to wear face coverings during the pandemic.

I have one N95 mask. The problem is that I don't see ANYONE wearing masks and I don't want to be "that guy".

Real statistics on who is dying and where. Not the liberal media and ET trolls BS on most number of infected people. Only relevant figures are how many are infected and what percentage of them died?
