These statements about transitory inflation are bs, it is INFLATION!

Yes, I appreciate you "helping" me with humor this afternoon. Lets start small, shall we?

How does raising taxes on corporations inhibit prices/inflation? Walk me through it. Feel free to assume I understand the basics of finance, and as such you can be brief.

Oh, and Piezoe is well educated and thoughtful - I agree completely. That doesn't mean he is correct about anything. Academics are often wrong in the real world. Just look at the Fed.

I have already walked you through it and you replied with a counter argument it would be counterproductive to raise taxes on corps because the cost would be passed to the consumer. Not necessarily but it’s ok if that is what you think. There is merit there.

As I said, you’re welcome to disagree. Where we are not meeting is you claim Biden’s tweet connecting corporate taxes to inflation was some sort of mistake of quality control and I am telling you, even though you disagree with the theory itself, it’s part of a larger economic theory to combat inflation.

Psaki came in with a lot of experience. She was on Obamas campaign then state department spox then ran his campaign then another spox job then Biden’s spox. The right hated her but she was always prepared. As I said it’s a tougher job than people think.

You didn't walk me through anything. You simply made the statement. You didn't explain how the process supposedly works at all. If you don't want to do it, I'm not surprised.

She wasn't always prepared. You want me to pull some Psaki hall of fame responses that show she had no idea what the hell she was talking about?

Im sure there’s some of that because the job is hard but overall she was pretty good as far as press secretaries go.

Good is a subjective term, so there's no real way to argue it. I define "good" as knowledgeable, professional, prepared and eloquent (with the language). Psaki was not "good" in my opinion.

But right and wrong can't be argued.

Gibbs was alright too but Jay Carney was probably Obama’s best press Secretary.

Looking back, who was the best press Secretary of the Bush and Trump presidencies?
