Hard to say. "Right" and "Left" have some blurred lines with Libertarians and Greens. What you can say is that Secular Progressives - which are the really rabid lefties who push things like transgender bathrooms, safe spaces, open borders, etc...those folks certainly got a kick in the crotch.
She got two million more votes and she still lost. Now that's a loser. A big time loser. Epic in its loserness. A born loser. All of em. Losers. You can't lose any worse than that.
As one of the few true libertarians here I'd like to butt in and say that I think it's a good idea to distinguish between "push[ing]" and a myriad of other non-opposing positions which would include "defending", "indifferent toward", or a more nuanced position. I am confident that you as a professed "libertarian" would be staunchly on the side of transgendered person's being able to use a bathroom appropriate to the gender they identify with.
Not this gag again....oh brother. As for what side I'd be on the transgender bathroom, you are mistaken in believing I would support someone using whatever bathroom they "identify" with. Not because I don't believe they have the right to identify however they wish, but because a true Libertarian recognizes that, while you have the right to identify however you wish, you do not have the right to infringe upon my rights to use a bathroom in comfort and privacy. A woman should not have to avoid a bathroom because she feels uncomfortable with a man claiming another identity in the stall next to her. Libertarians support personal freedom up until the point that personal freedom infringes upon another's personal freedom. People don't have the right to do whatever they want regardless of how it affects others. That is anarchy. Maybe you're an Anarchist, Piezoe.
Well it seems by pointing out that your positions on many of these issues are inconsistent with your professed libertarianism, I have touched a sore spot. If you want to be a libertarian, then you'll have to adopt a majority of libertarian viewpoints, otherwise you'd be an imposter. Sad to say most people claiming to be libertarians today, and surprisingly even quite a few who are active in what they call the Libertarian political party, are really something else entirely. Chomsky calls many of these folks anarcho-capitalists, and it seems that's a pretty accurate description for quite a few of them. I don't know what you are, but you are obviously not a libertarian. There are a lot of variations that can fit under the libertarian rubric, but there are some positions that clearly can't.
Sore spot? Hardly. I've been laughing at your self-proclaimed Libertarian-ism ever since you so staunchly supported the government bailing out failed institutions during the financial crisis. But, just so I understand this, you believe a true libertarian would support someone using a restroom despite how uncomfortable or the security risks posed to others, but someone who supports personal rights and security for all is an anarcho-capitalist. Did I understand you correctly in this..."wisdom"?
