Funny thing, I just heard a super-bullish podcast that projected BTC can only go up (it was recorded a few days ago). Haw!

 

those podcast producers probably bought BTC at 69000.

there are investors who only buy things when it breaks record high.
It is a very popular investment strategy.
There are quite a few ET members who use such a strategy.

 

And it's a valid strategy "buy high and sell higher" but you don't ever want to risk too much on a single investment. Otherwise it can be hard to cut your losses if, instead of continuing to go up, the thing starts going down. I learned that lesson the hard way.
