There is no volume today. What does this mean?

  1. SPY down 3%, there was no volume. No it is climbing back some, and still no volume.

    What does this mean?

    No panic selling yet. should wait to get in after capitulation?

    Or selling is already exhausted? Should I get in now?

  2. Its a bad sign. No capitulation, just more hope of an oversold bounce. Its a bad sign to see this market sustain trade under 1060 for a sustained period. The market is accepting value around 1050 but the investors haven't accepted that fact.

    Zero Volume implies one of the following:

    * You have data problems

    * Your volume histogram is the same color as your chart background color making the histogram invisible.

    Seriously, if you need to come to a discussion forum to ask for specific trading advice like if I should buy or sell here...you shouldn't be trading at all.
