So you don't know what you are talking about. You haven't cracked the market. Maybe you should read about those that have. So you don't believe the market is manipulated? I read a lot of trading books. You never know when you might learn something.
Smart Money doesn’t follow, it leads. Footprints on the DOM see market orders filled opposite large depth aka ‘turning points’ Some Smart Money is Big Money Some Big is Smart Some Small is Smart Most Small is Dumb Most Big is Dumb Most Smart Money is Obfuscated
I don’t just skim through books—I absorb them, dissect them, and master them. "Trading in the Zone," "Super Trader," "The Disciplined Trader"—all of them? Been there, done that. And guess what? The same knowledge that some loudmouth YouTuber is screaming about? I had it long before they even hit record. But hey, I still keep these books in my library, because unlike most, I actually respect the craft. Finance isn’t just a subject to me—it’s my domain. I study it, breathe it, and own it. When my professor recommended a book buried deep in the financial economic world, I hunted it down like a predator. Too expensive online? No problem. I downloaded the PDF, printed all 1013 pages, and devoured every word. The insights I uncovered? Let’s just say only a rare breed of students even have the capacity to grasp them. But here’s the kicker—none of it directly applies to trading. And that’s the problem. I’ve scoured every so-called "trading bible," yet none of them hold the elusive holy grail of the market. If you think you’ve got a book that actually delivers, go ahead—impress me.
Ahhhhh....the HOLY Grail of market trading. Sounds mystical, magical and Sexy and powerful. Orgasmic. Imagine a Holy Grail....that delivers to you millions of dollars a year. Who would give that away. If something is available for basically free...it's basically used toilet paper trash.
In general the market is pretty much dead!! I am not talking about the option markets...Just the stock market. About 1/3 of the market is now in private hands. You have thousands of venture capitalist and hedge funds looking for that next new Apple, Microsoft, Amazon. If there is future value in a new company, they will pick it off quickly...Or milk it for all it's worth. Early and late stage funding... It has been this way for about 10/20 years now. The hits get bought out...The misses go to public trading. Value investor here. It's hard to time the market... I look for things like the year 2000 dot com bubble, 2008/2009 housing crisis, Trump closing the country (pandemic March 24, 2020). Buy and hold value... Have dry powder on the sidelines for when it happens... I do make other trades, but they are common sense types. I'll see an industry leader (with a wide mote) have a bad quarter...Buy and hold, or buy then do a covered call. The call will be just out of the money from the buy...Take the option premium (and dividend) rather than the stock profit. I will also buy the stock and do a call way out of the money (leap) for income and growth generation...
O'Neil's How to make money in stocks. And before you start bad mouthing myself or the system. Show me the trades you made and how it failed.
All of those trading books and authors teaches you how to get returns that barely matches the S&P annual average. Very sexy and intelligent. Ingenious discovery. DogDead
