In London alone, 251 suspects have been charged with looting. Dozens have already appeared in court - and many have come up with ludicrous excuses. Suspect David Benjamin, 25, claimed he had stolen ski goggles to protect his eyes from flying glass in Ealing. A teenager accused of attempted burglary used his Croydon court appearance to complain about his benefits. Aaron Samuels, 19, shouted at the judge: "I don't even get money for housing benefit." THE 11-YEAR-OLD:The youngest looter hauled before the London courts is a boy of 11 who grabbed a £50 waste bin from a trashed Debenhams store.Prosecutor Steven Davis said: "Police saw him approach a window that had been smashed, lean in, take a waste bin and run off with it." When grabbed by officers the boy said: "I was taking it to pass on to someone else." THE POSTMAN: Jeffrey Ebanks, 32, and his student nephew Jamal Ebanks, 18, were allegedly caught in a car stuffed with electrical goods near a looted Croydon superstore. The teenager, who admitted burglary, claimed he had been 'led astray' by his uncle. THE NEW FATHER: Jason Matthews, who was wrestled to the ground by police in a ransacked Tesco in East Dulwich, insisted he was merely trying to buy nappies for his baby. THE SCAFFOLDER: Christopher Heart, 23, shouted he was 'sorry for the inconvenience' and broke down in tears after admitting burglary. The father of two was caught in JD Sports in Hackney. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article3745609.ece ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I don't even get housing benefit", "sorry for the inconvenience" LOL
I suggest the UK hires an old disused gulag in Siberia and ship the useless sods off there or failing that have an annual cull.
Been watching SNE for awhile now. Looked at the 15 year chart and it's possible the stock is spent. It had it's ride and if you superimpose a bell curve on it then it is in the last stage, decline. I was just thinking about the Renaissance again. Stands for rebirth. What does all of what we have been writing here have to do with the economy, stocks? Concurrently there are some unbelievable advancements in scientific fields. If these events are cyclical then we are now starting into a period of rebirth, maybe. Eddiefl, would be hard for me too. And to the person that said this news is propaganda. I work out of town at times. Been to some places. They are boarded up, houses burned, gangs own these neighborhoods. This is fact. Not made up. If it's just malarkey, I'll give you some areas to visit, and encourage you to stop, your car and walk around some. I would put odds on you, not making it back to your car alive.
Same riots coming to America. As soon as the politicos admit, "sorry... the money we promised you [to buy your vote] is not available... cannot be sustained..." American parasitic tit-suckers will riot just like in London... "YOU PROMISED... I WANT MY FRICKIN' MONEY!! I don't care if you don't have it... if you don't give me what you promised, I'm going to BURN THE TOWN!!"
This defense is alive and well in the US. It's called the "pampers defense". The psychology behind this is the perp does not want you to think bad of him. He's hoping for some modicum of respect. The guy is standing on the corner trying to make a drug buy. The police show up, he walks away, the police ask him what are you doing where are you going? He replies "I'm going to buy pampers for the baby".
A lot of Premier League stars are calling for an end of the riots. LOL. I bet they are.. Given the cars they drive...
