Thankfully I haven’t gone through any of that. But about 1/3 of my friends have and boy did they get taken to the cleaners!

 

If we ever get the technology to reach them the price of diamonds may drop significantly.

 

If we ever get the technology to find the De Beers' stored diamonds, the price will drop significantly.

Diamonds are like Bitcoin, not rare, unique in any way nor irreplaceable.
