The WTF Journal, my journal

  1. It is a shame that this community demands a bundled solution (with proprietary indicator!) or a hold-my-hand dictation in order to be accepted around here. I suppose the 95% do not have the vision it requires to see someone who really understands the markets and knows how to trade them.

It truly is your loss, although slightly mine since I have to sift through your drivel, but that's just another cost in the journey.

I think you mis-understood my sarcasm. I'm not looking for anything. Like the OP, it has taken me years to become consistently profitable trading SIFs. Oh, and I didn't get that way except through a hell of a lot of screen-time. Keep that in mind as you scroll through the threads here on ET. I was merely pointing out that the OP's threat to leave, would be about as traumatic as Alec Baldwin's promise to leave the country if Bush was elected. Alec didn't leave, and I'll bet the OP has no intention to either.

  3. Hello WTF. Rest assured that there are a considerable number of learning traders here who look forward to whatever you care to offer. We have serious questions and seek only to better understand what is working well for you. So don't let the negative folks run you away. Take a look at your first chart download numbers. As of now it is 268, so you clearly have an audience that is listening.

  5. LOL

This is already one of the most contentious and least informative threads on ET, and its only been a few days.

No Stops, exit when you're wrong?

    Sounds good.

    Joab

I was wondering how long it would take before the thread turned into typical ET shite.

Although I do not trade exactly the same as WTF what he is "trying" to share is very very valuable.

I agree that he should be a little more flexible but that's his right.

No offense (to the good folks of this forum) but I wouldn't share anything here because it's just not worth the nonsense.

ET shouldn't stand for Elite Trader, it should stand for Entertaining Traders.

  7. Oh it does, belive me. :p :D

This thread started with the losing proposition of stealth trader coming up with a silly alias, progressing through his garroulous explanations of how he buys "support" or sells "resistance" with liberal sprinkles saying how no one had better "piss him off" or he's gonna leave (LOL, is that supposed to be a threat?#!? :D ) and ended with his comment about not using a stop, just exiting when proven wrong (hmmm, I wonder if Victor Neiderhoffer or Jeremy Kerivel ever thought they were wrong).

And of course you can't forget the cheerleaders and their utter nonsesne, particuarly the liberal sprinkles of "hey, great thread" and "yea, good stuff", with a finishing touch from a clown like you Joab, who harrasses people whenever he wants to, yet wants to be taken "seriously" while POSTING PORN (so much for following the "good book", you typical religious hypocrite) on other people's threads (while complaining that this place should be called Entertaining Traders).

Oh the irony of it all.

Why don't you just STFU and have another weekend beer, I'm sure you're getting sloshed right about now.

  8. JJ,

You usually call them like they are but this time, you are way wrong on left field when the ball is coming to the right field.

#1 that is not ST, I assure you, just because the OP and ST both trade ES using 10k CVBs and only Price Action while sharing an asshole attitude does not make them the same person

#2 what he said about his stops is actually the ways professionals trade

    Consider the following:

    -5 ES Fixed Stop
    -5 ES "
    -5 ES "
    -5 ES "
    -5 ES "

    Net loss = 25

    vs

    - 3 ES Looking for lesser pain
    - 2 ES "
    - 3 ES "
    - 2 ES "
    - 8 ES Oops enough could not find it

    Net loss = 18

This time I suggest you STFU and just simply learn, this guy, is not your typical ET piker, believe me.

Perhaps you should consider the following:

    -2 ES Fixed Stop
    -2 ES "
    -2 ES "
    -2 ES "
    -2 ES "

    Net loss = 10

    or even

    -3 ES Fixed Stop
    -3 ES "
    -3 ES "
    -3 ES "
    -3 ES "

    Net loss = 15

    vs

    - 3 ES Looking for lesser pain
    - 2 ES "
    - 3 ES "
    - 2 ES "
    - 8 ES Oops enough could not find it

    Net loss = 18

  10. Point taken, LOL :D - way to many similarities for my book, but I'll conceed you this one.

Interesting mathematical analysis there, but I couldn't disagree more. Using stops is the only thing that's going to protect your account from absolute risk of ruin ... and if that the way "the professionals trade", as you say, I have no doubt it is because they use OPM. :D

I'm all ears, and will continue injecting dialogue designed to stir debate when the opportunities presents themselves. But you've got a good point there, those hindsight charts sure do look good!
