My experience with forums is that in general: newbies don't bother reading the FAQs. newbies don't bother doing searches. What can you do?
Before I started this thread, I did a search for FAQs in the thread title, and was disappointed with results. If this thread is successful, then when an unexperienced trader begins to ask questions,maybe it will be useful to donate a link to this thread, instead of saying "Thats a dumb question" Its up to the experienced to shine the light.
The thread is about Right questions verses Wrong questions. In your experience, what is a wrong question, that you can add?
Wouldn't a list of "Wrong" questions far outpace a list of "Right" questions so much so that it may be more practical to focus on a list of "Right" questions?
Yes I used some during the last blackout. Here's one I always get: "What does TA say about XYZ's chart?"
even "wrong" questions can potentially lead to good replies/answers. people should ask any questions they want.....
