Well, not as far as income taxes. Soon >50% will be paying zero Federal income tax. And if >50% pay no tax, why should it bother their voting if taxes are raised on the other guy? In fact, the non-tax payers should LOVE it that taxes are raised... Now something like a hike in gasoline tax... one that EVERYBODY who drives has to pay... well SCREW THAT!
