Not if you measure the gun ownership per 100,000 people, in that case we have the lowest homicide rate
Guns flooding the streets because of republicans is part of the problem so thats a worthless measure.
I once saw a chart like this that removed all urban area homicides and violence and did a comparison, and the US was considerably better than some on that list. The problem is the inner city. U.S. has world’s highest rate of children living in single-parent households - PEW BY STEPHANIE KRAMER For decades, the share of U.S. children living with a single parent has been rising, accompanied by a decline in marriage rates and a rise in births outside of marriage. A new Pew Research Center study of 130 countries and territories shows that the U.S. has the world’s highest rate of children living in single-parent households.
No doubt removing US murder and gun violence from US stats would improve US stats among similar nations in those categories
Yeah, I guess I'm not saying we should remove them from the numbers (can't do that and keep an apples to apples comparison), but if the problem stems from the inner cities, then the solution might be there, too.
Poverty, poor education and easy access to guns are the problem in major cities. This nations right wing gun and social polices are the biggest cause for that imo. Other wealthy nations don't have the gun, education, healthcare ,wealth inequality and for the rich polices The US has so they don't have the crime and gun violence The US has, even in thier inner cities.
