What does picking up on crime stories in NYC prove really? because others can do the same for Florida. Arent you the one who said posting some examples does not mean anything? JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It was another violent weekend in Jacksonville. Six shootings were reported in just over 24 hours. At least three people are dead and one is in life-threatening condition.
Oh, we're not talking about shooting articles in the news about gang wars. I could post the stuff like that from NYC or Chicago or Philly or just about anywhere around LA, or... We're talking about the happenings in places that are outside the realm of gangs and affect normal folks. But if you'd like, I'll start posting that type of stuff, too.
all of this affects normal folks..... what difference does it matter if it is NYC or Jacksonville.... you are trying to make it seem like it is unusual or political for a city of 8 million people to have crime but we can post these stories as you say from multiple places around the country. nyc did not invent crime or is even the worse place in the world by far for big cities and crime and neither is jacksonville. But why is NYC crime a good policial narrative and jacksonville not? because of your narrative. It is crime and it affects everyone....you did not claim the guy getting shot was outside the realm of gangs.... who knows. If the point is big cities have worse crime than small cities you are right... If big cities are run by dems and the point is dem running places lead to higher crime then that is your narrative for sure with these posts.
Gang violence doesn't really affect normal folks. Gang members kill each other all the time in Chicago, but it doesn't affect too many people outside the gang. It certainly doesn't disrupt business, commerce, public transportation, etc. It does have an unbalanced effect on the poor and disproportionately on minorities, as it occurs in their neighborhoods most of the time. What is going on in New York is very, very different. Anyone, anywhere can be subject to random acts of violence. People get randomly punched. Stabbed or shot. Robbed. Cars run people down. Police are attacked. Its very different, even if you don't want to admit it. I don't believe I've once - at all - said anything about democrats or republicans and their governing of cities.
