Private keys (secrets) makes sense for securing time-bound communications of relatively low value.
Private keys (secrets) makes absolutely no sense as a "store of value".
Once the secret is out, or recreated, it loses its value and utility.

Blockchain technology is here to stay, as a niche player in distributed computing.
Blockchain technology is just a tool though, means to ends, not the end itself.
There's no way technology can or should be the final arbiter for humanity.

  7. The Wealthy Are Hoarding $10 Billion of Bitcoin in Bunkers.

There were a couple of typos in this threads title, So I corrected it below:

The Wealthy Are Hoarding $10 Billion of Bitcoin is Bonkers.

An alternative title may be: "We are having trouble unloading our Bitcoin at a profit and really need masses of people to take the other side of our trade".

Or maybe this: "If all else fails, we will always be able to get the American taxpayer to foot the bill for our Bitcoin losses".
