"Imagine Success with the Mind's Eye" "Trust your Instincts" I am now in a zen like state since I am so far in the red. Short and holding. Please send flowers.
Exited long in yen at 8642 for 12 pips profit. Figure the bounce would be good for a few pips. Regards Steve
Good morning everyone: The Euro has crossed the 12092 level as you can well see. Resistance: 12114/12118 - reached 12130/12140 - we are now in this area Target: 12170/12188 short term Data released this morning is bearish for the dollar. A report released in Europe this today showed strong Consumer Price Growth - weak on this side of the pond. The interest rate differential that has supported the dollar is disappearing. We may see a quick run up to the 12183-6 level. Have a look at the daily chart and you will see a congestion area that formed between Jan 8 - 19th area before the run to the 12321 level. It is not far above were we are now and, a likely place for a correction in the near term before the 12300+ area is challenged. Good luck to everyone.
Hi sperksy: I posted when I added a new position yesterday. Long at 12062 (cash). I placed a buy order for another position just above 12092 and it was filled I reached the office this morning. This was a key level for me. I expect a correction in here because we are at a resistance level - 12030-/40 level. Should be short term We may see 12180/83 today. I have very tight stops. Best of luck
Spersky: Sorry I made an error in my previous post. It should read: expect a correction in here because we are at a resistance level - 12130-/40 level. Should be short term.
Can you give a quick summary why you're still short here? Looks like we're getting overbought so hope not much more for you to suffer.
Thanks BLR, I am long the Yen again at .8636. I am long 2 units with a pretty tight stop at .8598 I think this "no inflation" news will reverberate throughout the day. I noticted that trends tend to carry over into Japan trading session. Regards, steve
