First off, here is a link to the video that my whole comment is all about.

So the liberals, and obama get this woman to show up at kelly ayotte's town hall, and the womans question to ayotte is something long the lines of "you voted against gun control, why dont you care about my moms death"

There isnt a goddamn thing in the bill that would have stopped the newtown shooting, both ayotte, and the victim are aware of this, so why is it that these victims of gun control are pushing for any regulation, no matter what the regulation???

Why do they keep going out pushing for laws they know damn well wouldnt have done a thing to stop the newtown shooting?

If anything these people should be mad at obama for pushing such a stupid bill, that it would do nothing about the problem in the first place.

Yeah, because they have no other interest in speaking up.

Id have respect for them if they spoke up about things that actually could have prevented the shooting.

You worry about that when you're in their shoes.

It's too bad that you, FC and Obama's mothers didn't go see Dr. Gosnell when they were pregnant. He's a fine prenatal doctor. :D

Thats such a cop out. Their kids died, i feel very bad for them.

With that said, why should we go along with their political agenda when it seems like their political agenda has everything to do with liberal ideals, and very little to do with anything that would have prevented the massacre?

Are we supposed to pay more respect to a persons political beliefs simply because they have been victimised?

Or furthermore, why did Obama wait for this event before doing this? Why didn't he bring up one of the thousands of parents that lost children, or vice versa, in cities like Chicago or DC way before this?

Among other things, Obama is an opportunist. Let no crisis go un-exploited.

Public perception. It matters quite a bit in a democracy.

  10. The poor parents are getting swept up in something bigger than themselves. Pro-gun parents before the shooting are now getting paid to be on TV, and can you imagine the look you'd get if you still believed in the Constitutional right to own a gun? So, now they have to be "played like a fiddle".
