The very BEST trading advice you have ever had.

The forums are full of advice on trading but much of it is either misleading or even wrong. So what thinking back is the best advice that really got you onto the profitable road ?

 

Getting stopped is a blessing to protect capital and not a symbol of trading failure.

 

Trade what you see, not what you think.

 

Good ole buy low and sell high is an obvious one.

It wasn't for trading, but it applies here very well.

 

Stop looking for magic advice from anonymous 3rd parties on how to trade, what is the best security, who has the best thread on ET.

Roll your sleeves up and do your own work and stop asking questions to have things handed to you like a child or you will be a complete failure at trading.

If you think the above sentence is wrong I am sure you are already are a failure at trading.

 

The best trading advice I heard is don't enter in such a trade which can disturb your sleep.
