Actually, what we’re witnessing with energy consumption is what supply side economics teaches. We’ve witnessed a massive increase in renewable energy in the market and the thinking was that would offset the demand for carbon based energy, but that is not what happened. The availability of more energy just translated into more consumption of all energy.
