should highways etc be controlled by the government or private companies?

  1. Z ... I'm all for small gov't and more free enterprise but some bedrock base of transportation that costs trillions is a legitimate function of the common weal. Our problem is that big or small this is a corrupt piece of crap bloated system of lobbying and destructive power sharing that shares it not at all ... it allows everything to compromise with a bias toward greed.

    Oh yeah, for those who are going to tell me ... GREED IS GOOD ... remember only my greed is good ... lol.

  5. Would every road be a toll road then? How does the average citizen pay for use, if not through taxes? I'm just a little confused on the logistics of it all, if it's not finance by the government.
