@SimpleMeLike you win. Your profits came out of my pocket sir. Last I check, it is zero sum, if I trade against you, we cannot both win.
Lol. Hello Aaryan Bhatia... Not sure a handle here that starts with Aryan and ends with a remote tribe in India/Pakistan, yet hails from Dubai... pimping their own blog.... is gonna go over real well here at ET... but you go Mr Medium. Check back with a few stock picks and we'll evaluate that "medium" thing.
Stupid me, I thought Mr Bhatia, one of the 90%, was looking for trading help from ET trading wizards.
Hello ironchef, This is Bullshit and Lie. Everything you read about trading is darn lie. Zero Sum, what the heck does this crap mean? And who cares what it means? I means notthing and does nothing for my pocket. I turn the computer, open the ES chart, click buy or sell button, make money or lose money, PERIOD. Repeat. Then I turn it off and go do other things in life. All the Zero sum, mental, or that fancy talk is a LIE. Make money is the only truth. Bills due on the first of the month.
Where do you think the money you make is coming from? The ES Fairy? In order for you to win some other poor smuck has to lose, plus the trading fees. It's not a zero sum it's less than that as the exchances take their rake.
Hello deaddog, I have no idea where the money comes from , as long as I go to my account and in my pocket.
That's only if we both trade the same time-frame If you sold your swing trade today on #CLRO @ $1.87 for a 100% gain, and I bought it from you @ $1.87 and sold a few minutes later to another swing trader @ $2.31 which will sell in another month @ $2.5 - could very likely be a win/win/win for all of us. Smart traders don't lose money to others, dumb traders do, a lot....
I think its more like 90% of the investors invest in SPY win, 90% of swing traders lose, 98% of day traders lose, probably less than 0.1% able to afford a Lambo from trading.
