  5. RedDuke, just curious, you don't see anything that looks at least a little strange with the above link - supposedly Mark's DAX course for $395 (WOW!!!)?

I am not sure how they got a hold of Mark's name, but he is not a part of this course for a long time. It is 4 years old. I would think that it was developed to introduce people to DAX and some specific broker(s), just a guess.

Congratulations. Who did you end up going with to trade DAX?

  9. stayed with Global Futures and the highest daytrade margin of 2,000Euros...really like the DAX...tight spreads and high point value...moves a lot like the YM but not as many points per move...do you trade the DAX solely or???

  10. Like hundreds of fellow Dax traders, I came here to find a profitable method, but found a thread that has little on substance and more on wishful thinking. As traders, we think we can goto a thread and find a method that will reduce our losses.

to start with, i think the DAX is touted as a pair that has lots of mo excitement than the ES and other emini's, particularly as it i) trades in the euro session and ii) has a greater ADR than ES. Little do most traders, who r hell bent to lose on the dax, know that u need a watertight method to trade the Dax profitably. if,for example, you are unable to profitably trade the YM, with the lowest value per tick, how the hell would you consistently be profit from a pair that moves more wildly that the emini with the highest volume (ES).

Some of the successful traders stick to what works for them, like Anekdoten trading the NQ, while lots of struggling traders are lured to the DAX. Most ninja based platforms ask $3100 in margin for Dax, while u can trade emini's with 500$ per contract.

To make a fat story thing, my humble advice to any would be dax trader, stay away.
