European markets are a terrible deal for beginners. Taxes are atrocious and costs ridiculous, not the best place to be when daytrading. That's because we never complain, while americans do. You don't need to look much further than fuel price difference and to the reaction of americans have if the state want to raise taxes: they make a revolution. We on the other hand shut up and cry and lower our pants for the next.... milstar are you german? PP
Reluctantly, for the most part, I'm inclined to agree ... These days I'm going over this thread once more (I had been following it, back in 2003-2004, but I wasn't trading DAX/ET to be able to evaluate whether things mentioned here had merit or not) PS: Any meeting points (forums, IRC channels) of traders of the DAX? (no problem if it's in German language)
Would anybody happen to have 1-minute intraday OHLC data on the DAX, ESTX, Bund. I've been looking at these markets and would like to try out some strategies on past data. Thanks.
Hi! How many pages is it in this thread? I was at about 180 some days ago and would continue. Now i only see 90 something.
Just finished reading this thread. Big thanks to everybody who contributed. I am very new to DAX and looking forward to trade this market. This thread gave me some insights on what to expect. Still need to digest all info that I got. Scientist, any chance in resurrecting this thread. You have not been here for a while. Regards, redduke
All the off-topics, personal attacks, and advertising stuff was removed by the moderators. In other words, that content that's now gone had nothing to do with the topic of the trading and some of it had nothing to do with trading. Our comments will probably get removed too if someone complains loud enough. Mark
