  1. I didnt know they had come this far. I understood, some time back, that there is only conciousness, energy, God. whatever you choose to call it. This being the case it is probably possible to do just about anything. The difficult part is learning what it is thats worth pursuing.:)

  4. That is a fantastic analogy, dpanic! You've got the right kind of mindset.

Great, your comments about music! I am a real collector and appreciator of music, yet I can't count myself of a student anywhere near your caliber or experience. Myself, I love a variety of classic, particularly the German (Austrian), Russian, Japanese ones, my favorities are probably still the common classics Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi (I like baroque kind of classic), but then I like some opera's, too (count Vivaldi there, too), I also like the Chinese opera - It's awesome. Whenever it screens, I will record all of it or just hang in front of TV for nights straight. It is so well rehearsed, it doesn't go into my head how they can remember and replay these sheer endless plays. Even my dad (professional theatre and TV actor & musician) is usually completely captivated by the performance... :)

Myself, I used to play keyboard and piano, now I focus on playing the acoustic guitar.

Now, doesn't that sound a bit like evasion? :D

Same for you! Have a nice one!

I won't take this thread too far off track but classical guitar is my focus as well. Carpal Tunnel in my right hand took away my aspirations of going to Spain and playing Flameco with the gypsies :)

I don't follow your comment about evasion but I see the smiley.. just a joke don't get touchy. I've came down with the flu on New Years eve so I'm a real bundle of joy to be around right now.

  9. Yes, weighted depth is one of my absolute fav features. I use it all the time.

Personally, from not too remote memories of scalping ES & NQ, as well as still watching them every day next to DAX?

I would say watch out! Here are a few rules I use:

    - If on either future, one side (cumulative!) is much deeper than the other, let's say 60-100% more, then that one will tend to exercize the power on the other one (and probably go where the volume is!)

    - If this (heaving cumulative weighting) is the case on both indexes, and both facing in opposing directions, stand aside. Don't play, because it'll be a tug of war. In this case, watch for the high's and low's on the tick chart, rather than the depth.

    - If both indexes have heavy weighting in the same direction, then take the index that "lags", i.e. gives you a better discount for a limit entry, and follow the side of the most volume.

    - If there is a really long "wall" on one level, particularly right in front of you, you're looking at a severe support or resistance. In this case, DO NOT necessarily play into the direction of the volume. In this case, you'd be better off waiting for that barrier to melt, or / and put in small fade off that level.

Bottom line : If they agree, go directional, if they disagree, don't trade, scalp, or play arbs. I prefer to scalp or play arbs.

    Have Fun!
