These must be the violent Marxist protestors that AAA was referring to. They sure sound like a dangerous bunch. Riding their bicycles slowly and other acts of aggression and violence. Looks like a real bloodbath in the making. Hahahahahaha. Peace, Rs7
this SF protest provides some good support for AAA's argument. you could definitely say that some of these people are intentionally crossing the line between "speech" and "riot," or at least coming very close: LINK
"Protesters have been carrying out demonstrations around Washington, DC Thursday morning in response to the U.S.-led war with Iraq. Some gathered on bicycles and traveled through downtown carrying signs that said ``Bikes not Bombs.'' Others traveling on foot met up at a metro station. " They are being arrested also yeah, if we all just ride our bikes more there will be peace on earth ! Ha ! This is the intellectual level of most of the anti-war people. http://www.14wfie.com/Global/story.asp?S=1189053
Some of the most anti-war people I have ever met have been combat veterans and current service members. They hate it despite their duties. It's a shame that some of those ideologically aligned with Bush will exploit this war to tar those who favored a peaceful solution with the Sedition brush or even those who simply are not Republican. The notion that opposition to war is against our troops interests or aids the enemy is rather absurd. In Iraq now, anyone voicing support for Amercan liberation runs the risk of his own death but I hope that will change very soon with this war. Thank God Americans can dissent with constitutional protections. You don't have to be leftist to recognize the facsist tendencies in people like Mondotrader.
Well ... What's going to wind up happening is that these ultra-liberal anti-war protestors are going to divert enough police attention away from other things such as terrorist prevention and while there are 1,000 cops keeping 100,000 people in line, the terrorists are going to walk in and have a field day with us.
