I must be really crazy then, because I've been trading fulltime since 1996. If all I've been doing is losing money, who's been paying my mortagages all this time (notice the "s" in mortagages, as in plural, trading has paid the down payment on all my investment properties). Damn I guess I'm lucky the bank hasn't caught 8 years of bounced checks. What a joke, you wanna see my statements... please son, you would probably cry. Furthermore, I couldn't possibly care any less if you believed me. However, in the interest of fairness I do have to give you one thing selling puts and calls away from the current market, especially index options, can be very profitable if done right but the volitality (VIX) has to be there to get good premiums, which it has not been for over a year.

I sell covered deep out of the money options with 2-3 month left to expire for very small % gain. I belive that is all you can hope for in the markets. let me no your thoughts or prove me wrong. Far too many on this site limit themselves with being scalpers or searching for some black box system as a road to riches. The markets are coming full circle, IMO, back to the pre-bubble days, where a solid understanding of correlations, fundamentals, technicals, and a grasp on sentiment are key ingredients to making a living in this field. Hello: I am watching the Lakers kick San Antonio's butt and I would like to point out that the Laker girls are wearing some very nice latex outfits. One can only wonder what may have motivated them to come back from being down 0-2 to winning 4 straight to clinch the series. Anyway this is like arguing with my girlfriend, If nobody will post proof of earnings which I am sure loads of aspiring traders on elite trader would love to see fine. You all could but you don't have the time, why should you ....what's in it for you....etc etc. It's amazing how a simple request can ruffle so many feathers. (sorry jficquette) I'm obviously not going to give anybody any money just wanted to see how far people would take there bluffing. Hope to do this again soon.
