    themickey, hard work is necessary as the pain of big losses and the ecstasy of big wins, problem is where to apply the energy required for the work as most traders (me included, for a time) put the work in the wrong direction and the longer they do so the harder is to let go and learn anew.

    If by 'Noob' you mean someone new to the markets, then that description doesn't apply to me, bought my first shares in around maybe 1988...

    1988 and you still don't understand that "You will never go broke taking profits" is pure nonsense?

    Trading since 1988 does not mean you are not a noob anymore. Noob has to do with knowledge, or rather missing knowlegde.
