Yeah, it's a fact that most breakouts/breakdowns tend to be false moves. It's very hard to grow the account if you're trading the 'noise' or the 'random' moves - which is what a lot of daytraders who overtrade and feel that they always have to have and open position in the market do. It's better to wait for the moves with real strong conviction behind them - and yeah that is a matter of perception.
