I don't know why someone doesn't publish the mathematical distribution the polls seem to be following. Then we (might be able to) get an expectation and a standard deviation.

It is interesting that the "market of the popularity" of the candidates is news or more accurately event driven. If it were on issues, the polling would be far more stable. In this way, it is a popularity contest not unlike the stock market.

No wonder these people engage in smear campaigns, and the media is made complicit in it, on both sides. It should also be clear that there is media bias - it is probably easy to prove mathematically from the data to a very high degree of confidence.

Latest Trump accuser says he hugged, kissed her without permission

    By Caroline Kenny, CNN

Updated 9:24 PM ET, Sat October 22, 2016

Washington (CNN)Another woman is publicly accusing Donald Trump of inappropriate sexual contact, alleging the GOP nominee touched and kissed her a decade ago during a charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Jessica Drake is at least the 11th woman to accuse Trump of unwanted sexual advances since the surfacing of a 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape in which Trump brags about being able to grope and kiss women.

Drake, an adult film performer and director, claimed at a news conference in Los Angeles Saturday that Trump asked her for her phone number and invited her to his suite the night they met in 2006. She went and brought along two other women to accompany her because she said she did not feel comfortable attending alone.

"He grabbed each of us tightly, in a hug and kissed each one of us without asking permission," said Drake, who is being represented by Gloria Allred, the women's rights attorney who has represented other women -- including two other Trump accusers -- in high-profile sexual assault cases.

Feeling uncomfortable, Drake said she left after about 30 to 45 minutes but later received a phone call from one of Trump's representatives, who invited her to his room alone. Drake declined.

According to Drake, Trump himself then got on the phone with her, asking her to come back and to go out to dinner or attend a party with him, but she again declined.

He then asked, "What do you want? How much?" Drake said.

After she turned down his invite, she said he eventually offered her $10,000 and use of his private jet if she accepted....

Trump Foundation Paid Activist Filmmaker James O'Keefe
    Leigh Ann Caldwell
Friday, 21 Oct 2016 | 5:29 PM ETNBC NEWSDonald Trump invoked a video that says supporters of Hillary Clinton were paid to incite violence at one of his rallies in Chicago. It was an attack thread to emphasize that her campaign was "sleazy."

But what Trump didn't say is that he has paid the filmmaker who he says uncovered the story.

The video, which was just released earlier this week and made by conservative activist James O'Keefe of Project Veritas, was paid $10,000 by the Trump Foundation in May of 2015 - one month before Trump's announcement of candidacy.

"They hired people. They paid them $1,500, and they're on tape saying be violent, cause fights, do bad things," Trump said on the debate stage Wednesday night, referencing the video by O'Keefe.

NBC News has not corroborated the video.

The payment was first reported by Think Progress and was listed in a compilation of donations the Trump Foundation gave to the Washington Post.

"I was wondering what happened with my rally in Chicago and other rallies where we had such violence. She's the one and Obama that caused the violence," Trump said at the debate.

O'Keefe has produced numerous videos that have attempted to take down members of the media, Democrats or progressives. He led the videos during the 2008 election of progressive group ACORN and attempted to show that Planned Parenthood sold aborted fetuses.

Breitbart is the platform where O'Keefe's videos are posted. The former head of Breitbart, Steve Bannon, is the CEO of Trump's campaign.

An original version of this story said O'Keefe was the producer of a video about Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod. He was not.

Candidate one----has made lewd remarks and had unproven sexual assault allegations leveled at them. This candidate believes in lower tax rates, lower spending and a stronger military.

Candidate two---Has sold access and influence to foreign powers and domestic lobbyists and has lied to the FBI and the American people. This candidate believes in higher tax rates, open borders and single payer health care.

    I choose candidate one.

It's real simple choice. Why someone would vote for candidate two is incomprehensible to anyone with an ability to reason and think logically.

Correct and that is disgusting and indefensible. However, I did not include that because I view that as a state issue not a federal one.

Growing conflict over voting rights in Georgia, where the presidential race is tightening
    1 / 51
[IMG] © John Bazemore/AP Voters wait in during early voting on Oct. 20 in Sandy Springs , Ga. Early voting in the state runs through Nov. 4.

A growing conflict over voting rights and ballot access is playing out in Georgia, where civil rights activists are trading accusations with Republican elected officials and where stakes have risen considerably with the state’s new status as a closely watched battleground.

Activists said earlier this month as many as 100,000 Georgia voter registration applications have not been processed. One of the state’s largest counties offered only one early-voting site, prompting hours-long waits for many voters at the polls last week. And the state’s top election official has refused to extend voter registration deadlines in counties hardest hit by Hurricane Matthew.

These developments have prompted harsh criticism from voting rights activists. Last week, the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit to extend registration for six counties affected by the hurricane. Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp, who oversees elections, responded by taking to Twitter to rail against “left-wing activists,” whom he accused of trying to disrupt the upcoming election.

Fresh polls in the Peach State show a tightening presidential race between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, who has complained that the election is “rigged” against him. But voting rights advocates say that Republican state and local election officials are undermining the fairness of the election by passing laws and adopting procedures that deter minorities and young people, both groups that typically vote Democratic. The clashes in Georgia echo battles in recent months, some still ongoing, in states around the country, including North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio.

“Georgia is ground zero, if you will, when it comes to voter suppression and voting discrimination that we’re seeing this election season,” Kristen Clarke, president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law....
