The Trump Files

  1. Normally politicians have a team that prepares them thoroughly before any debates :
the questions asked were not very surprising questions.
I am finding that Trump seems to be complaining a lot lately.

A New York woman is accusing Donald Trump of groping her outside of the U.S. Open tennis tournament in 1998.

Karena Virginia, a yoga teacher and lifestyle coach, said Trump approached her while she was waiting for her car outside of the tennis tournament in Queens, N.Y., when she overheard Trump and a few other men talking about her.

"He then walked up to me, reached his right arm, grabbed my right arm, and then his hand touched the right inside of my breast," she said.

"I was in shock, I flinched. 'Don't you know who I am?' That's what he said to me. I felt intimidated and I felt powerless."

"He should be ashamed not only of his words but of his behavior toward so many women," Virginia said.

Virginia levied the allegations during a Thursday morning press conference in New York with the attorney Gloria Allred.

"Mr. Trump, perhaps you do not remember me or what you did to me so many years ago," Virginia said between sobs. "But I can assure you that I remember you and what you did to me as though it was yesterday. Your random moment of sexual pleasure came at my expense and affected me greatly."

Virginia is just the latest woman to come forward alleging misconduct by Trump since the release of a 2005 tape where he bragged about grabbing women by the genitals.

More than a half-dozen women have come forward to say they were the subject of aggressive or unwanted sexual advances from Trump.

  4. "Lifestyle coach."

Yep, we totally believe you. Having Gloria Allred in your corner makes all the difference.

Just brushed past her breast ?
Although I don't condone gratuitous groping, this woman with all her tears etc. is vastly over playing the situation ...for political purposes surely. Perhaps hoping for a payoff ? They are out to get you back Donald for calling them names.

Trump seeks to bar personal conduct claims from Trump University trial

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Donald Trump's attorneys asked a U.S. judge to bar accusations about his personal conduct that have arisen during the presidential election campaign, which would include allegations of sexual misconduct, from the upcoming civil trial over Trump University.

Students at Trump University claim they were defrauded by its real estate seminars.

Trump, the Republican nominee for president, has faced allegations from women that he inappropriately touched them. Trump has denied those accusations.

In a court filing late on Thursday, attorneys for Trump said evidence and statements from the election campaign should be barred from trial because they could unfairly prejudice the jury. The trial is set to begin on Nov. 28.

Evidence including Trump's campaign speeches, tweets, his tax issues and controversy over his personal charity should not be considered by jurors, the filing said.

"Before trial begins in this case, prospective members of the jury will have the opportunity to cast their vote for president," Trump's lawyers wrote. "It is in the ballot box where they are free to judge Mr. Trump based on all this and more."

Trump's lawyers had argued that the lawsuit, filed in 2013 in a San Diego federal court, should be dismissed because the New York real estate mogul, while personally involved in developing the concept and curriculum, relied on others to manage Trump University by the time the plaintiffs purchased seminars.

Trump set off an uproar earlier this year when he accused the judge overseeing the case, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, of being biased against him because of the Trump's pledge to build a border wall between the United States and Mexico. Curiel was born in Indiana and is of Mexican descent.

A supporter of U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton holds a sign which reads " I trust you" during a campaign event in Cleveland, Ohio U.S.

Donald Trump gained on Hillary Clinton among American voters this week, cutting her lead nearly in half despite a string of women accusing him of unwanted sexual advances and the furore over his disputed claims that the election process is rigged, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday.

The survey also showed that 63 percent of Americans, including a third of Republicans, believe the New York real estate mogul has committed sexual assault in the past, though the Republican presidential candidate has denied the recent accusations.

Clinton, the Democratic former secretary of state, led Trump 44 percent to 40 percent, according to the Oct. 14-20 poll, a 4-point lead, with the Nov. 8 election fast approaching. That compared with 44 percent for Clinton and 37 percent for Trump in the Oct. 7-13 poll released last week.

Clinton's lead also shrank in a separate four-way poll that included alternative party candidates: 43 percent supported her, while 39 percent supported Trump, 6 percent supported Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, and 2 percent supported Jill Stein of the Green Party...

  9. World markets don't like Republicans.

Donald Trump Victory Would Send Stocks Plummeting 10 To 15 Percent
Stock markets around the world are uncharacteristically averse to the Republican nominee

A victory for Republican nominee Donald Trump would send stock markets in the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia down by 10 to 15 percent, according to a new economic analysis.

In a paper released Friday by the nonpartisan Brookings Institution, economics professors Justin Wolfers and Eric Zitzewitz tracked overnight trading during the first presidential debate last month between Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton. They found that markets around the world surged as it became clear that Clinton had won the face-off.

“Markets believe this election will have huge ramifications for the global economy,” Wolfers wrote in a flurry of tweets breaking down his findings. “It’s not just about us; it’s about the world.”
