  3. Trump campaign meltdown: Paul Manafort paid off by Russia, Roger Stone attacks Corey Lewandowski

In the hours since the New York Times uncovered millions of dollars in illegal secret cash payments made from a Vladimir Putin puppet to Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, all hell has broken loose within the Trump campaign – and much of it is playing out in public for all to see. One of Trump’s top surrogates is publicly gloating over Manafort’s criminal connections, while another top Trump surrogate is publicly accusing is accusing a fellow Trump surrogate of “working for Hillary Clinton.”

The Trump campaign meltdown began late Sunday evening when the NY Times published the story exposing Manafort’s millions of dollars in hidden illegal payments from Vladimir Putin lackey Viktor Yanukovych. Corey Lewandowski, who had been Trump’s campaign manager until he was fired this spring and replaced with Manafort, tweeted out a link to the article as if to gloat about the fact that his replacement is being taken down by a corruption scandal.

Even as Corey Lewandowski was enjoying his revenge, another Trump surrogate Roger Stone got wind of it and fired back by claiming that Lewandowski was now “working for Hillary Clinton” by way of calling him a traitor. Lewandowski actually works as a commentator on CNN now, and it’s not clear what his on-air approach will be to the Manafort story, as CNN wasn’t broadcasting live news on Sunday evening while the drama was exploding.

Meanwhile Donald Trump himself has had nothing to say about the matter, but he now has several problems. There’s the fact that he may have to fire Paul Manafort due to his illegal financial connections to Russia’s Putin. There’s the fact that Corey Lewandowski appears to be so excited by the downfall of Manafort he’s no longer remaining loyal to Trump. And there’s the fact that Roger Stone is now publicly attacking Lewandowski. It all leads to the question of just who might be running Donald Trump’s campaign by the time the smoke clears tomorrow – if there is indeed anything left of his already dying campaign to salvage.

  5. It's a family affair . . .

Amid Russian payoff scandal, Donald Trump’s daughter goes on vacation with Putin’s girlfriend

On the same day that one major news outlet uncovered millions of dollars of illegal cash payments flowing from a puppet of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the campaign manager of Donald Trump, another major news outlet discovered that Trump’s daughter Ivanka is currently on vacation with Putin’s girlfriend. The combination of scandals has made for an explosive fallout in the hours since the news broke.

Late on Sunday evening, the New York Times exposed that current Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort received more than twelve million dollars in off-the-books bribes from then-Ukranian President Viktor Yanukovych, who was essentially running a Russian puppet government. Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who was fired and replaced by Manafort three months ago, was seen gloating at the news on Twitter. That led another Trump surrogate, Roger Stone, to begin randomly and nonsensically accusing Lewandowski of being in bed with Hillary Clinton, even as it was becoming clear that Manafort was in bed with Putin.

The scandal was set to ruin Donald Trump’s week one way or the other, as he’ll now be forced to prove to Americans voters that he’s not a bought-and-paid-for Putin operative like his campaign manager appears to be. But the optics could not be worse for Trump, as People Magazine also reported on Sunday that his daughter Ivanka Trump is in the midst of a sightseeing trip in Croatia with Wendi Deng Murdoch, who according to US Weekly is the girlfriend of Vladimir Putin.

That leaves Donald Trump with so many fires to put out, so many people to fire, so few people who could possibly want to take their place as his campaign nosedives, and such little room for explaining away his own apparent ties to Putin and Russia, that he may be heading into the worst week for his campaign to date. After the stunningly damaging manner in which this past week has played out for Trump and his campaign, one might have thought that wasn’t possible.

  7. Against the background of the Russian hackers with ties to the Kremlin, and now these latest news items brought to us by OddTrader and Spike Trader, who knew that Russia would have such a prominent role in US elections.

Congress Leaders Were Briefed on Russian Hacking of DNC a Year Ago, Sources Say:

Trump allies, WikiLeaks and Russia are pushing a nonsensical conspiracy theory about the DNC hacks:

I hope this meeting proves as fruitful as the Clinton Lynch meeting. Can you imagine the emails wikileaks is going to have in a few days.

I can't imagine Trump sending Ivanka unless something significant will come out of this meeting.

    Get long oil by November.
    goodbye Isis.
Syria will be under Putins control.
Hillary will be twitching in jail with Bill if the negotiations are successful.

Is this a good thing... no but like the leftists maybe the end of hillary justified the means. I guess it depends on what Trump give up. Maybe he just says we will have a better relationship with Putin than under Obama.

  9. She must be meeting contacts to sollicit funds or free advertisements for Donald Trump'campain.
This would be expected if money is short, as the rewards of a win would be tremendous ( US Secretary
position appointment may be for her ?)
Here in Europe, Trump and kids have been solliciting money directly from MPs and others.
Obviously some UK MPs were outraged about it: we can say this is not very
dignifying as the US is seen as the world power.

One has to assume that many other foreign countries politicians have been solicited.
Now to find which one has been paying will be the work of US foreign secret service agents.

The thing I want to know is: why a deca-billionnaire would go and solicit foreign funds?
It seems that US elections historically have costed up to 1.5bn $: can't he use 10% of his own
money for it, knowing that he will get amply rewarded should he win ?
