If you want to make a living at it, it's also about developing a thoroughly-tested and consistently-profitable trading plan. "Accept[ing] that there are always ups and downs in trading" is a losing attitude, characteristic of someone who's never developed such a plan.

If you don't want to bother, don't. But let's not pretend that "stay[ing]positive" will enable you to make a living as a trader.

Appears you can't read either (the calls are in the plan). As you seem to be unable to draw a straight line as well, you're pretty much without a paddle.

    Like talking to a post.

Although it's understandable that someone who knows nothing about trading plans would not be able to recognize one, much less be able to figure out how it works.

Here is analysis of the 15 min chart today. Some analysis was presented in real time specifically the reasons that the two failed signals were iffy. In order to have been able to catch the trend reversal from the beginning, one would have had to have been up in the wee hours as you can see from the charts. This coincides with my description that the 60 min oversold condition lends itself well to bounces. Today was an extremely easy day to just stay long the entire day on the 15.

And now, the 5 minute analysis. Notice the same early morning signal but a little further spread out.
The two failed signals are here as well although on the 5 minute chart, with regard to the 1st failure, one could have traded my 5 point stop loss with 17.5 pt target NQ model that I have described on the 1 min NQ chart. The same parameters can be traded on the 5 as well if you like targets. Generally that is a good bracket of stop loss and target on NQ intraday if you are a targeter. I am not though--I am a trend follower looking for extended gains. Again, even on the 5 min chart, today was very easy as an all day trend, given that when stopped out , there was an immediate continuation rsi grail. Now--very few would have been awake to take the first long in the wee hours, so you just would get long at any time after that on a long grail etc.

Here is the 60 and you can easily see why pause would be given to taking new shorts on the 5 and the 15. You will generally get better moves when all three charts agree and as you can see, they all agree today on long.

My demonstration of how to post trades and how to post losing trades with full transparency is now complete. Effective next week, I will begin posting both winning and losing trades. The scribble educators and students have been dismally reticent in posting testimonial live calls either winning or losing, thus there is no evidence of any ability of that same system to identify entries, exits and stops. The lack of transparency alone has fully debunked the system and rendered the method as unenlightening and unremarkable. Currently, the SLA scribble method has neither made any money nor lost any money and no commissions have been realized.

  10. What point are you trying to prove? Db is giving you the answer to have live calls that YOU call out for yourself. You're spending all of this time trying to disprove this method or is it Db that you are trying to disprove?

Db has given a lot of great info, advice, and overall knowledge to these forums. Buy1 is self destructing his own method as he is trying to prove it. And yet you two knuckleheads are claiming it works over SLA.

You want to trade your rail method? Go for it.
